Never shying away from something difficult, Karen decided to go into the accounting field for the challenge and reward it provides. Karen has been lighting up our offices with her warm smile for over a decade now. Before coming to DFMM&C, Karen worked in a state facility as part of the Financial Department for about 10 years. That’s a double-decade dose of experience! Her 20 years of service plus her professionalism, courtesy, and hard work make her a wonderful part of our team.

Jen attended C. W. Post (or LIU Post) in New York. After spending some time as a teacher, Jen discovered that as much as she loved it, the work really didn’t pay the bills. Turning to her know-how for numbers, Jen sought out a career that worked better for her, and we are happy that she came to us here at Grand Strand CPAs. In our accounting firm, she specializes in payroll processing.

Before moving to Myrtle Beach, Lauren started out working in accounts payable. With over five years of experience in accounting, Lauren quickly fell into step in her role as a bookkeeper when she moved to Myrtle Beach and joined the GSCPAs team in 2014.

Linda has been working in accounting for 30 years, and she continues to find new and exciting challenges in her work every day. After studying at Boyce Community College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Linda found herself here in South Carolina, soaking up the sun and letting the waves melt her worries away. Her bookkeeping expertise is a major advantage for us here at Grand Strand CPAs.

Jane has been with GSCPAs for ten years, and she has put her whole heart into serving the community as part of our accounting firm in Myrtle Beach. She started out her education with an Associate’s degree in computer science from Horry Georgetown Technical College, and when Jane first started out in this business, she was a data entry clerk. Her passion and drive for the field pushed her to pursue a Bachelor’s in accounting with a concentration in CPA from Coastal Carolina University.

Tia makes working with numbers look easy, but she worked hard to become our bookkeeping guru. After studying at Coastal Carolina University, Tia found herself working in office administration, and she came to the GSCPAs team not long after that. She’s been an office administrator for nearly two decades, and she knows our team like family; in fact, that’s the best part of the job, according to Tia! Grand Strand CPAs is such a close-knit team, Tia loves working with everyone in the firm, and she values the relationships she builds with clients year after year.

David hails from right here in Myrtle Beach, and he’s dedicated his career to helping people with their accounting needs in South Carolina. This accounting pro holds a Bachelor’s in accounting from The Citadel, and he’s always found that math came easily to him. As one of the partners in the firm, David has been a key part of the team for years.

As Managing Principal, Tim ensures that we maintain the highest standards and stay up to speed with all of the complex and changing tax and accounting rules and regulations.
