One of the newest members of our team here at Grand Strand CPAs, Jen Ellendorf is a bright new face in the office. A former teacher, Jen is enjoying the change to life in the world of accounting.
Jen attended C. W. Post (or LIU Post) in New York. After spending some time as a teacher, Jen discovered that as much as she loved it, the work really didn’t pay the bills. Turning to her know-how for numbers, Jen sought out a career that worked better for her, and we are happy that she came to us here at Grand Strand CPAs. In our accounting firm, she specializes in payroll processing.
With several years of accounting experience under her belt now, Jen is doing a great job and enjoying her time as part of one of the top tax accounting firms in South Carolina. One of her favorite things about the job is the people: Jen likes everyone at the firm, and she was happy to find that they are all hard-working, helpful, and kind.
Jen is one of two cat people in the office, and she loves being able to camp in the local forests and beaches. She’s a beach girl at heart, and one of the best things about moving from Long Island to Myrtle Beach is the warm weather, which means more time on the beach for her! Not only that, but the local sushi restaurants give her as much of her favorite food she could ever want. With two young children, Jen is a busy mom, and she loves taking her kids out to experience all that the local area has to offer.
